It all started when Rizwan Mustafa left his hometown Halifax, Nova Scotia, to help his good friend, Lewis Meehan, open Sheep’s Head Bistro in 2015.
It was only supposed to be a short stint, but a chance encounter would change everything. Rizwan met Josee while serving her at the bistro; the rest is history. Now, they own and run the restaurant together, sharing their seasonal, east-coast approach from their home in Glen Walter, ON.

As Sheep’s Head Bistro’s first hire, Natalie is no stranger to the bistro. After a successful culinary school experience in Kingston, ON., Natalie worked alongside Lewis Meehan, the original head chef, until taking the reins in 2022.
Natalie is looking forward to building on these strong traditions as Sheep’s Head Bistro enters an exciting new chapter.
